I think lies does play its role that is quite positive. I believe that all of us are rude, messy, and ugly, but we don't want to be, or rather, we don't want to be looked down upon. We can curse all we want, but we have a choice to filter those bad words out of our mouth and keep it for ourselves.

It's not a matter of hippocracy, it's a matter of ethics. Nobody wants to be proper, people just want to appear proper, there's a big difference and a thin line between those two contradictory words. People think they can do everything they want, like not wearing tudungs and stuff, in reality, we're slaves- God's slaves, and He has the rights to tell us what to do. As much as we don't want to, there are the wajib things we have to abide.

You know the time when people stop lying and show their true self? When they're mad, or sad, just emotionally unstable. They don't filter anything from their mouth, they just let everything out, and me realizing that, sometimes find it quite funny. I'll laugh unexpectedly when someone's angry. That's when the truth comes out.

My point is, truthfully there are things we refuse to do, refuse to say, but, keeping it to ourselves doesn't makes us liars, it just means that we're cautious of people's opinion that are full of flaws.

In my opinion, keep lying, unless that person can accept the truth. When I watch movies or read books, I get quite annoyed when the girlfriends wants an honest guy that tells them nothing but truth, when they obviously can't handle the truth. My reaction:

Girrrl, u crazy!

When married men look at younger woman, and the wife gets jealous "Is she prettier than me?" obviously not, but if you tell the truth there, your marriage is at stake. Sometimes you have to lie. A white lie.

People always say 'Nobody's perfect' , but nobody actually accepts imperfection. Perfection is a quality only God deserves, so why do people expect it from human beings? People are so obsessed with perfection, that everytime someone else makes mistake, they'll point it out with full rage. In their defense, we've' done those mistakes before and we're supposed to not do it again.

But perfection does not come after being pointed out imperfect. I'm not saying that we should be forgiven everytime we make mistakes, it's just that, mistakes aren't on purpose, we're trying to be less imperfect than yesterday, and being mad about it won't change what's done.

So yeah, Honesty isn't the best policy. It's a good one, but not the best. Sometimes you need to lie.
