I still fly
Up Sky high
and I dare anybody to try and cut my wings

This is actually the first time I'm dedicating a blog post to someone who is not my family, and also not Tiqa, so don't take this wrongly, we're not super close or had a 'history' together, he's just a really good friend and somehow I just feel like blogging about him right now.
Ashraaf, or the name everyone's more familiar with: Acap. I first met him during my first day in Seven. I was being very nervous, I mean it was my first time in a public school, and a lot of people have a lot of speculations, and the classroom teacher, Ustz Ibnu Muez asked me to introduce myself, and I was stuttering and my voice was cracking and it wasn't loud enough, and people were like "Hah?Hah? Apa?Tak denga!" and then Acap spoke out "Korang takyahlah kacau dia." and then they were like transferring their attention to Acap, and Ustaz told me to sit down, then everyone just kind of forgot any of it ever happened. At that moment, I felt so thankful for this unknown stranger who has somehow saved me from that unwanted situation. That was seriously the coolest thing a guy has ever done to me during that time.
We didn't talk much throughout the years, but whenever we had a conversation, it was so comfortable that I kind of forget that we aren't even close to begin with. Somehow talking to him, all those stages doesn't matter. Like, you don't need to gradually be close to a person to have a conversation, all you need is just yourself. He makes everyone comfortable, that's his charm, he's the nice guy.
One of his abilities includes tarannum. He's really good in reciting the Quran, every time there's a tadarrus or opening recitation, he'll be the one to do it, and he does his job very well. There was one time Ummi followed me to an iftah at school and Acap was reciting, and I was like 'Ummi, I know this guy!' Lol, bangga.
One of the reason that makes me say he's the nice guy, is that he doesn't change. During Form 4, everyone's in different classes, and some even change and have new group of friends, which isn't a bad thing, is just that, when you start to ignore your old ones, it gets annoying. And when you start hanging out with the punks of the school, you start being one. Acap on the other hand, well, he's just that same old Acap whenever you see him, just more taller and bulkier than before. He always greet me whenever we meet in the hallways, he takes the seat opposite me if I'm sitting in the library and he has nothing to do. There was this one time, gotong royong perdana, and I ended up cheering up his classroom, well basically because Malin asked me to do Khat, for words that Acap provided with, and the three of us were in a conversation as if we were still in the same classroom together, it was so easy and unintentional.
We're not close friends, cause you don't need to be when it comes to admiring this guy. Even guys admire him, I mean he's head of KRS, so he has a lot of juniors looking up to him- respecting him for who he is, cause he totally deserves it and I totally understand why they do it: He's Acap
Acap: Naelah, Biru xcukup sorang je lagi untuk Chess perempuan, ko terror Chess kan? Esok kul 3 kumpul kat Kantin bawak RM3 untuk pendaftaran, kalau ko taknak, aku belanja ko, kawan takde hal. Aku dah puas cari budak untuk Chess, tolonglah aku. Kau boleh tak esok?
Naelah: Ermm... Acap, aku kuning!
LOLOLOL, I can't forget that moment, I was literally laughing so hard outside 5 Science 1 that I didn't even care the stares from the teacher and my classmates (he called me out during classes) , but I did end up helping him, by begging Farhana to participate in it. Lol.
In a nutshell, Acap's just this cool guy you always want as a friend- and I feel very grateful to have him as one. Labels: of wet socks and smelly armpits
